Munchen in Black and White: online!

Thursday, May 24th, 2012

A quick Thursday post for y’all!

Daniel Marcel Schmude-Sterling the photographer artist and proprietor of Launch.fotodesign, located in Prenzlauerberg, Berlin, sent me some fun news today.

His exhibition of nudes, “Posing for Identity”, went up in Munich. (I wrote a quick post about this back in February, check that HERE).  It was a group exhibition but the gallery was so impressed that Daniel sold a number of pieces they invited him to create an online gallery of his entire series.

The images are beautiful and I’m really proud to have been included in the exhibition.  If you’ve got some extra EUR laying around get online and support a talented artist/photographer and snag a great print of yours-truly posing in the all-together.

Check out the online gallery HERE.

Daniel Marcel Schmude, a photographer and good friend of mine, owns and runs his own studio in Berlin called Launch.Photostudio.
Daniel just contacted me to let me know that he has secured another exhibition and one of the portraits he took of me will be hanging in a gallery in Munich, Germany, this coming March as a part of a series he created a few years ago.

Daniel and I met while I was collaborating with Caden Manson/Big Art Group on the creation of  DEAD SET, as guests of the Hebbel Am Ufer Theatre in Berlin, 2007.  We’ve remained friends since and it’s been such a pleasure to share our growth professionally and personally over the years — and the man has the talent to create some stunning images.  I’m jazzed he has been securing more and more exhibitions of his work and really pleased he has included my image in a number of them.

More specific info to come about the gallery and exhibition details, for anyone who may be in Munich in March.

Oh, and a sickening lil dance solo to send you on your way from yours truly and the dangerous company of DEAD SET, and Caden Manson’s/Big Art Group.
